Our Team

Our CEO, Marius, is a McGill University MBA graduate. He started his career 30 years ago as a front-line FX and bond trader in Europe and subsequently took onto various advisory and portfolio management roles in Canada before founding a portfolio management firm, ST Global Asset Management Inc. in 2018. Marius is a devout practitioner of analysis of market behavior and a keen observer of societal implications of financial trends as proposed under the Elliott Wave Principle and the Socionomic theory.

Benoit has a Masters degree in Finance with a minor in quantitative methods and a diploma in life insurance (AVC) and financial planning (Pl. Fin) from ESG UQAM. He also earned his CFA II and he helped set up the Institut de Finance de Mathemathique de Montreal. Benoit previously worked as consultant for pension funds and has held various advising positions with portfolio management and financial services firms in Quebec, Canada for more than 15 years. His associate portfolio manager role at ST Global entails oversight of various quant programs and mandates of fundamental and behavioral nature and their application to several traditional investment solutions, including many Fund IQ model portfolios.

Tuomo Lampinen is an accomplished software entrepreneur and researcher with a proven track record in multiple successful ventures across diverse industries, including case management, power usage and efficiency optimization, and investment and portfolio analytics. His research expertise encompasses econometrics, data science, machine learning, quantitative investment analysis, and trading strategies. Tuomo holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Helsinki University of Technology and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation to deepen his understanding of financial markets.

Julius graduated from the Dutch Royal Military Academy (KMA) in 1986. In 1990 he left the air force as a captain and entered the financial industry as a portfolio manager for Equity & Law (now part of AXA investment managers). Julius is the creator of Relative Rotation Graphs®  , a unique relative strength methodology that helps quantifying key aspects of asset class and sector rotation. Julius RRG’s methodology is applied in various ways on the FundIQ Outsourced CIO program.

As a graduate of UTM’s statistics program, Radu’s passion for math and statistics lead him to the fields of actuarial science and quantitative research of financial markets. A former elite junior hockey goaltender, Radu is a big believer in process, the use objective evidence and tenacious discipline as a foundational block to achieve success in life – including financial success. Radu is lead architect of the FundIQ front and back-end applications and is involved in the creation of FundIQ’s fundamental and behavioral data models.

A McGill MBA graduate, Alex spent decades in important corporate treasury and finance positions, culminating with his tenure as the Treasurer of AON Canada. His understanding of strategy and his executive-level management skills are great assets for Fund IQ’s management of day-to-day operations and overall strategic development.

Pasi is the founder, CEO and head of research and development of Lightning Charts OY Finland, a global leader in data visualization technologies. Pasi's input as board advisor is invaluable for the development of the core technology solutions underlying Fund IQ. Stelian is a graduate of the Polytechnic University in Romania. His passion and knowledge for what he refers to as United IT – a framework for reliable, secure but also cost-effective IT services - is instrumental to Fund IQ’s success story. Stelian’s visionary input to Fund IQ’s IT infrastructure offers a strong operational foundation  to Fund IQ’s current operations as well as future growth.

Cosmin is a talented web developer, previously employed under contract for significant projects with major European automotive, financial services and consumer brands. Cosmin oversees every aspect of FundIQ’s web development and e-marketing processes.
